CAESAR'S PALACE | Let it never be said that the Scorncasters aren’t down for noshing on a little slice of humble pie every once in a while. (Or... wait, does humble pie contain any dairy ingredients?) After tossing RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES on their lists of dreaded summer blockbusters a few months ago, both Jasper and co-host Ghostface Millah generally concede: The clumsy trailer might’ve made them want to fling poo, but this series reboot is shockingly satisfactory, mostly thanks to its clever simian heroes — not the shitty human characters — and the very special effects that bring them to expressive, emotive life. Also: Ghostface explains that even gangsta chimps need to watch their damn mouths, Jasper wonders how long you can date a girl without giving her a full tour of your home, and past Scorncast lust objects Justin Timberlake and Daniel Craig get some new competition that’s totally bananas.
