WHY, ‘KIDS’?! | Who would've thought Robert Rodriguez, the man behind Desperado, Sin City and From Dusk Till Dawn, would go on to create spew out numerous "imaginative" child-friendly action comedies? Following the first three Spy Kids flicks — and don't forget The Adventures of Sharkboy & Lavagirl and Shorts (it's like Rodriguez is vying to be a part-time poor man's Chris Columbus) — we finally have the trailer for the fourth installment in the franchise no one even knew they wanted. SPY KIDS: ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD is chock full of things young'uns apparently love, like:
- flying vomit!
- a snarky robot dog!
- a ball pit!
- Jeremy Piven in goofy eyewear!
- Jessica Alba!
- sexist spy accessories! (Boys get ass-kicking gloves; girls get a purse.)
- dialog like: "You are the best spy mom ever"!
Even the title is a vague threat, as if Rodriguez is saying: "Look, I've got all the time in the world to keep crapping these out." Also, what the hell is 4D? Does that mean we have to pay an EXTRA additional $3 to see this shit? —Ghostface Millah
